Berkeley International Montessori School was originally founded by teachers and administrators from American International Montessori due to a high demand to expand their Japanese Children's House program. With her many years of experience and strong leadership abilities both as a teacher and colleague, our head of school, Sakiko Takagi, was able to assemble an outstanding team of educators who shared her vision. The BIM team continuously works with a harmonious and balanced synchronicity and a shared love for the craft of teaching and working with young minds. All of us are pleased to continue our partnership at BIM and expand upon our practice of bilingual education through the Montessori method, and we look forward to partnering with families to raise bright, inquisitive, empathetic children.
