HOURS AND TUITION

The following information is valid through August 2021

 

BIM’s Children’s House for toilet trained students ages 2.5 – 6 years is offered as a year-round 12 month program with varying schedules available during our 2019-2020 academic year. Our current academic year runs from September 2020 through August 2021.

School Hours & Tuition*
BIM is open from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday with schedule and hour options listed below. A consistent routine and schedule best serve your child’s overall developmental progress, so we do not offer partial week schedules. Tuition fees can be paid in full on the first day of the school year with a 5% discount (for mid-year start dates, 50% of school year tuition must remain) or in 10 monthly installments between September and June.

Half-Day: 8am to 12:30pm

(2 and 3 year olds only)

Annual Materials Fee

A $1000 non-refundable annual materials fee for the academic year is due upon enrollment and may be pro-rated according to your start date. This fee covers materials, activities, special snacks, cultural celebrations, and in-school enrichment activities.

One-Time Enrollment Fee

Upon your child's enrollment, you will be billed a $500 non-refundable one-time enrollment fee.

Discounts

Siblings: 5%

Annual tuition paid in full: 5%

Deposits
Deposits for the academic year will be due in June to secure placement as part of re-enrollment. Deposits are equal to one month's tuition.

 

School Holidays & Breaks

BIM is closed 1 week for Thanksgiving, 2 weeks for winter recess, 1 week for spring recess, and 2 weeks in August for teacher in-service week. The first Friday of each month is also generally a 3pm dismissal day in order for our team to hold staff meetings. All other school holidays and early dismissal days are noted on the academic calendar, which is included in the enrollment packet upon acceptance. 

 

Payments

Unless requested, all fees are conducted through an online FACTS account, which you will register for upon acceptance. Any checks should be made payable to our sister school American International Montessori School (AIM).

Extended Care Options and Late Fees (cash only)

Due to licensing regulations, space is limited for extended care after 3pm. Registration is based on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pre-arranged drop-in extended care (3-6pm) for enrolled students is $40 cash and must have at least 24 business hours notice with confirmation from staff.

The end of the day late pick-up fee is $1 cash per minute after your child's pickup time, payable to the staff member/s who stayed with your child. 

*Pandemic Response Plan

In response to the COVID-2019 pandemic, we developed a plan to stay in operation by following a number of strict guidelines as advised by various health departments in our area. This includes limiting school hours; currently, our full day program is from 9am-3pm and our extended day is from 8am-4:45pm. This allows our team to thoroughly clean and disinfect the entire campus as well as any materials and toys. You will be required to sign and submit the provided pandemic plan upon your child's acceptance and your full cooperation with our rules and regulations is expected and enforced.
